(12/12/14) J. Howard Johnson, 88, of Warwick passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Kent Hospital. He was the husband of the late Norma V. (Johnson) Johnson. He was a son of the late Everett M. and Mary (Cullinen) Johnson. Mr. Johnson was an Estimator for Ralston Plastering Co. until his retirement in 1996. He served in The United States Navy during WW II. He was a member of the U.S.M.C. League and enjoyed League Bowling and League Golf for many years. He was the beloved father of David L. Johnson and his wife Cynthia of Coventry and Cynthia A. Johnson of Hope. Loving grandfather of Christopher, Adam and Curt. Cherished great-grandfather of four. His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11:30 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Coventry. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 pm.
