(03/31/15) Jody (Vaughn) Harrison PhD, 62, of Cranston, passed away on March 28, 2015 at home. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Richard V. Vaughn and Ann (Adams) Colvin and step daughter of the late Kenneth M. Colvin (Lt. C.F.D. Retd). Ms. Harrison was a Legal Administrator for Hodosh, Spinella & Angelone in Providence for 27 years retiring in 2008 due to illness. She received her PhD from Johnson & Wales. She was self taught as an artist and painter and enjoyed interior decorating. She was the beloved sister of Richard Lincoln Vaughn and his wife Lea of Hope and Judy Vaughn of Coventry. Loving aunt of Megan Ostrander, Richard S. Vaughn and Loren Vaughn. Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Thursday from 9:00-11:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.
