(06/16/15) Sheila (Krupa) Pietraszek, 95, formerly of Fatima Drive, Somerset, wife of the late Peter J. Pietraszek, died Monday, June 15, 2015. The daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Misiewicz) Krupa, she lived in Somerset since 1964. A Marine Corps veteran of WW II, she was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School and Bryant College. Prior to her marriage, she was an employee of the US Immigration and Naturalization Service, Providence. She was a member of the St. Stanislaus Seniors and a former member of the St. Stanislaus Women’s Guild and Krakowiak Dancers, the Friends of Saint Anne’s Hospital and the Quequechan Club. She leaves a son, Peter J. Pietraszek, Jr. and his wife Kim, and their two daughters, Alyssa and Keyana Pietraszek, all of Westport and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Josephine Costa, Joan Faria, Sophie Schick, Alys Ashley, Chessie Sullivan, Mildred Krupa and Rose Rudyk. Following cremation, her funeral mass will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation and flowers omitted.
