(04/11/14) Pawtucket – Harold W. Jackson, Sr., 89, of Cleveland Street died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Pawtucket surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Thelma R. (Chartier) Jackson. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Harold H. and Mary T. (Farrell) Jackson. Mr. Jackson was an appliance repairman for Elwyn TV, Cranston, Shepard Jenkins and Private Appliance, Pawtucket before retiring. He was a former member of the Elks. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member and an usher of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Pawtucket for many years. He is survived by two daughters, Sharon A. Tsangarouli and her husband, Demetrios of Pawtucket and Donna M. DeCrescenzo and her husband, Mark of North Providence; two sons, Harold W. Jackson III and his wife, Barbara of South Attleboro, MA and Robert J. Jackson and his wife, Geraldine of Pawtucket; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Knight, Ruth Miller, Dorothy Meunier, Henry Jackson and William Jackson. His funeral will be held TUESDAY, APRIL 15 at 9:30 A.M. from BELLOWS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Requiem Eucharist at 11 A.M. in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 50 Park Place, Pawtucket. Burial, with military honors, will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited and may call MONDAY 5-8 P.M.
