(05/27/14) Marie Ann Shippee, 57, of Warwick, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Kent Hospital. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Rose (Thoman) Shippee. Marie was self-employed in the snack industry. She was an avid reader, nature lover, enthusiastic walker, and enjoyed cooking. She was the loving sister of Charlotte Dionne of Dayville, CT. Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Thursday from 10:00-11:00am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will follow in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet.
