(06/19/14) Alice J. (McDuff) Burnham, 82, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Gilbert E. Burnham Jr. and widowed by Richard Laprad in 1976. Born in Warwick; she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Alice (Baxter) McDuff. Alice was a devoted member of the Shawl Ministry and Communicant of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Warwick. She is survived by her children: Raymond T. Laprad of Warwick, Thomas R. Laprad of Warwick, Jean L. White of Florida, Kathleen A. Laprad of Warwick. Karen M. Boschetti of Warwick; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four stepchildren: Gary Burnham of Warwick, Linda Mitchell of Coventry, Sandra Green of Warwick and Nancy Desanto of Warwick. She is predeceased by sisters Phyllis Kidd and Marjorie McDuff. A Memorial Service will be held at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1817 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI on Tuesday June 24 at 11 AM followed by burial at RI Veterans Cemetery.
