(08/04/14) Burrillville – Susan E. (Thurlow) Burns, 85, of North Main Street, Pascoag died Friday, July 25, 2014 at Bayberry Commons, Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Burns. Born in Lee, Maine, a daughter of the late Charles and Adria (Ware) Thurlow, she had lived in Stratford, CT for most of her life before moving to Pascoag 5 years ago. Mrs. Burns was a clerk for the Connecticut Division of Motor Vehicles in Norwalk, CT for many years before retiring. She was a member of Woonsocket Chapter #3, Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Lindsay of Monticello, ME, Cynthia Doane of Danforth, ME, and Mary Jannarelli of Pascoag; one sister, Mary Jane Cote of Milford, CT; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Bernard Thurlow and Alice Smith. An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held THURSDAY, AUGUST 7 at 7 P.M. followed by a Prayer Service at BELLOWS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
