(08/13/14) Joanne E. (Leonard) Roth, 66 of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away on July 31 at Kent Hospital. Joanne was the wife of the late Robert Roth. Mother of Jonathan Ferrara and his wife Janette of Saugus, MA and Amy Torro and her husband Steve of Tewksbury, MA; sister of Lawrence Leonard and his wife Sandy of West Warwick, RI with whom she recently made her home and the late Janet E. Leonard; grandmother to Christopher, Nicholas, Brittany and Alexis; aunt of Gregory Leonard. Joanne was born at Morton Hospital in Taunton on February 29, 1948 to Lawrence and Beatrice (Hudson) Leonard and was raised in Orleans, MA. She had moved to Punta Gorda and enjoyed her work with Mary Kay, The Scrap Book Store and Walmart. She enjoyed scrap booking and many years of cruising on their sailboat with Bob. A Memorial Service to celebrate Joanne s life will be held Saturday, September 6th at 2:00 PM at Riverpoint Congregational Church, West Warwick.
