(10/25/14) Louis Roberti, 89, of Warwick passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Teresa (Capaldo) Roberti for 64 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Romeo and Rose (Calderone) Roberti. Mr. Roberti was a Civil Service Worker for The United States Government at Quonset-Davisville then served as a driver for The State of Rhode Island. He served in The United States Navy during WW II. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Warwick and a life member of the D.A.V. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff on 4th floor West at Kent Hospital for their excellent care of Mr. Roberti. He was the loving father of Paul L. Roberti and his wife Susan of East Providence and Stephen J. Roberti of Warwick. Cherished grandfather of the late Brendan Roberti. Caring brother of Mary Serbo of Johnston and the late Amelia Gesualdo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 10:00 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick. Burial will be private.
