(11/25/14) Pawtucket – Cheryl L. (Allison) DiGiuseppe, 64, of Second Street died unexpectedly Saturday, November 22, 2014 at home. She was the wife of James W. DiGiuseppe. Born in Greenville, SC, a daughter of L. Lee Allison of Punta Gorda, FL and the late Carolyn (DeGuilio) Allison, she had lived in Pawtucket and Cranston for most of her life. Cheryl was the Tax Collector for the City of Pawtucket for 33 years before retiring in 2010. She was a graduate of St. Xavier’s Academy, Providence. Besides her husband and father, she is survived by one daughter, Melissa Powers and her husband, Daniel of Ringwood, NJ; one son, James White, Jr. and his wife, Sarah of Cranston; one sister, Cynthia Beck of Arvada, CO; four brothers, Richard W. Allison of Leadville, CO, Michael L. Allison of Warren, Joseph N. Allison of Punta Gorda, FL and L. Lee Allison, Jr. of Seekonk, MA; three grandchildren, Ava, Samantha and Daniel Powers, all of Ringwood, NJ; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Monday, December 1 at 10 A.M. at BELLOWS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln followed by a private burial in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call SUNDAY 2-5 P.M.
