(08/11/14) HARBOUR, Bertha L. (Martin), 92, a resident of West Warwick for most of her life, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert G. Harbour. Born in the Albion section of Lincoln, a daughter of the late Noe and Nellie L. (Gendron) Martin. Mrs. Harbour was a registered nurse previously working at Lying-In Hospital, a communicant of Christ the King Church and a member of the Potowomut Golf Club where she enjoyed golfing and playing bridge. She is survived by her children, Hon. Robert G. Harbour and his wife Maureen, Roberta E. DeVore and her husband Doug, Michael M. Harbour and his wife Pat and Mark C. Harbour and his wife Danielle; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014 from 8:00-9:30 am in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Christ the King Church, Legris Ave., West Warwick. (08/11/14) Eleanor A. (Mansolillo) D\’Uva, 85, of Cranston, beloved wife of the late Carmine D’Uva, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia Mansolillo. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and attended Bryant Business School. She was employed by Colonial Knife in Providence for many years. She then served as the financial officer at the office of Dr. Arthur Mansolillo, D.D.S. in Johnston for forty years, before retiring. She is survived by her daughter Amy E. D’Uva of New Hampshire; a brother, Dr. Arthur Mansolillo of Warwick, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph F. Mansolillo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 13th at 10:00 am in St. Gregory The Great Church in Warwick. Burial will be private. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. (08/08/14) Kevin John Calore, 40, of Cranston passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at home. Born in Providence, he was a beloved son of Linda F. (Vigneau) Calore of Warwick and the late Robert S. Calore, Sr. Devoted father of Kevin J. Ward of Jamestown. Loving brother of Robert S. “Bobby” Calore, Jr. of Warwick and Kimberly Calore-Sedlak and her husband Jan of Cranston. Cherished uncle of Victoria and Julia Sedlak. Caring grandson of Angelina Calore of Warwick. Kevin was a construction worker and previously served as a banker with Domestic Bank. He was a graduate of Toll Gate High School. Kevin was a loving father of Kevin Ward and was so proud of all his son’s accomplishments and the man he has become. He loved his family, had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up a room. Kevin loved soccer and played for the Warwick Fire Fighters, Indoor Soccer Indoor Soccer and was captain for Pele Spring Soccer. At age 13, he was chosen to represent Rhode Island on the USA Olympic Team. He was a loyal fan to The New England Patriots and would cheer them on win or lose. Kevin was a huge movie buff and would often quote “Rocky.” When you think of Kevin he would want people to remember his spirit, his sense of humor, his tender heart and the love for his family. Mother of Jonathan Ferrara and his wife Janette of Saugus, MA and Amy Torro and her husband Steve of Tewksbury, MA; sister of Lawrence Leonard and his wife Sandy of West Warwick, RI with whom she recently made her home and the late Janet E. Leonard; grandmother to Christopher, Nicholas, Brittany and Alexis; aunt of Gregory Leonard. Joanne was born at Morton Hospital in Taunton on February 29, 1948 to Lawrence and Beatrice (Hudson) Leonard and was raised in Orleans, MA. She had moved to Punta Gorda and enjoyed her work with Mary Kay, The Scrap Book Store and Walmart. She enjoyed scrap booking and many years of cruising on their sailboat with Bob. She served on the Warwick City Council, representing Ward 2, from 1979-1981 and was active in Democrat politics for many years. She was a graduate of Central High School and a longtime supporter of West Side Little League. She was the loving mother of Catherine L. Valequette of Warwick, Cynthia E. LeBlanc of Warwick and the late Carol A. Cunha. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Petrarca, Jaime Valequette, Natashia Cunha, Michael Valequette and the late Nicholas LeBlanc. Mr. and Mrs. Bejma would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this September 5th. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late John and Valerie (Walek) Krzyzek. Mrs. Bejma was a kindergarten and pre-school teacher for 10 years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Teresa’s Church, Pawtucket. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Michael Bejma, and Paul Bejma and his wife, Maria, all of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, Stephen Bejma and his wife, Kayla of Foster, and Allyson, Mercedes and Alexis Bejma, all of Pawtucket; and one great grandson, Nathan Bejma of Foster; and several nieces and nephews. (08/14/14) Joan Carolyn Rigney Hornsby, 74, of Fall River, MA, died on August 14, 2014. Born in Waterbury, CT, she was a graduate of Newburyport High School and Radcliffe College (1962), and she earned an MS from Columbia and an MA and PhD from Boston University. She worked for mental health agencies and then as a clinical psychologist in private practice until illness caused her to retire in February. She leaves behind her husband of 50 years, the Rev. James H. Hornsby, rector emeritus of St. Luke\’s Episcopal Church, Fall River. Survivors also include three daughters and sons-in-law, Alison and Thano Chaltas (Stamford, CT), Elizabeth Hornsby-Graham and John Graham (Fairfax, VA), Jennifer Hornsby and Seth Sadofsky (Eugene, OR); a brother and his wife, David and Ann Rigney (Columbus, OH); and five grandchildren, Sarah and Nathan Graham, William and Katherine Chaltas, and Joel Sadofsky. She enjoyed playing cello in the Fall River Symphony and Providence Adult String Ensemble and served on the St. Anne\’s Hospital ethics board. She loved hiking with her husband and friends, especially in the SE Massachusetts Bioreserve. Born in Providence, RI, she was the wife of Andrew C. Smiley, Sr. They were married for sixty-one years. She is the daughter of the late Thomas H. Sr. and Margaret Irene (Fleming) Rowley. Beverly was a realtor along with her husband Andrew for fifty years and together they were the owners and operators of Andrew C. Smiley, Inc. of East Greenwich and North Kingstown, RI. Beverly will be greatly missed and will always be remembered for her sense of humor. She also loved art and music and had a generous nature and devotion to her family and friends. Besides her husband she is survived by five children; Andrew C. Smiley, Jr. and his wife Jackie, Alan T. Smiley and his wife Phyllis, Ann M. Smiley-Phippen and her husband Paul L. Coleman, David A. Smiley and his wife Sara and Lynn E. Smiley-Harvey and her husband David, a brother; Thomas H. Rowley, Jr. a sister; Catherine M. She was the beloved wife of Joseph R. Fournier. Born in Attleboro, MA, a loving daughter of Yolanda (Rezza) Donnelly of Plainville, MA and the late Patrick Donnelly, she had lived in Lincoln for the past 23 years. Mrs. Fournier was a precious metals trader for Fleet Bank and later for Bank of America for 25 years, retiring in 2007. She was a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School and Wheaton College. She was actively involved in PACT at Lincoln High School. Lisa was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 and was the May cover girl for the 2014 calendar for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her three beloved sons, USAF First Lieutenant Michael Fournier of Mount Laurel, NJ, USAF Airman First Class Daniel Fournier stationed in Okinawa, Japan, and Ryan Fournier of Lincoln; one loving sister, Colleen Domingos of Plainville, MA; and several nieces and nephews. He was the husband of Cora A. (Grenon) LaChance. Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Felix and Doris (Papineau) LaChance, he had lived in Pawtucket for 25 years, Smithfield for 2 years, North Providence for 5 years before moving to North Kingstown 11 years ago. Mr. LaChance was a supervisor at Leviton Manufacturing Company, Warwick for 13 years before retiring in 2003. He served in the Rhode Island National Guard from 1956-1960. He was a member of various bowling leagues. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Sandra Taylor and her husband, Jason of Lincoln; two sons, David G. LaChance of North Kingstown and Michael H. LaChance of Lincoln; two sisters, Yvonne Connors of Lincoln and Helen Reynolds of Central Falls; one brother, Armand “Allie” LaChance of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. (08/17/14) Pawtucket – Roland “Rolo” A. Bourassa, 67, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Sunday, August 17, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Renata A. (Polit) Bourassa for 45 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Arthur J. and Aurore (Choiniere) Bourassa. Rolo worked for the Providence Journal as a publication specialist for over 40 years. He began work in the newspaper business at the Pawtucket Times as a paperboy, later working for the Attleboro Sun Chronicle and the Woonsocket Call. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed traveling with his wife and living life to the fullest. Besides his beloved wife, he leaves two daughters, Stacey L. Sabourin and her husband, Drew of Cumberland and Keri A. Sales and her husband, Dennis of Dallas, Texas; a son, Corey A. Bourassa and his wife, Tara of Cumberland; four grandchildren, Corey and Payton Bourassa, and Mia and Cole Sabourin; a sister, Ann-Marie Conklin of Pawtucket and four nephews, Daniel Conklin, Corey, Jarrett and Trevor Meunier.
