(02/24/15) Lincoln – Alice H. Raymond, 82, died February 22, 2015, after a brief illness. Born in Lincoln, a daughter of the late Leo J. and Aurore (Bazinet) Raymond, she had been a lifelong resident of the town. Miss Raymond had worked for many years as an administrative manager, and co-owner with her brothers, of the former Maplehurst Dairy Farm, and of Juice Services, before her retirement. She was an active communicant at St. Jude Church, Lincoln, where she served as a CCD teacher for many years. She enjoyed giving her time, and did so by volunteering at the Children’s Museum, Providence, and at the VA Medical Center, Providence. She loved to travel, tending to her garden, and she especially loved the springtime. She was the loving and caring aunt of Peggy O’Neill, Linda Leary, and Diane Myers, and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews. She was the sister of the late Leo J. Raymond, George Raymond, Normand Raymond, and Maurice “Yo” Raymond. Her funeral will be held Saturday, February 28, at 8:00 a.m. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with the celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends, are invited, and may call Saturday from 8:00-9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Miss Raymond’s memory to the R.I.
