Mrs. Charron was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the State of RI Medical Center for 23 years before retiring in 1992. She leaves a daughter, Carol LeClair and her husband Roger with whom she lived; a son, Stephen Charron and his wife Cindy of Warwick; a brother, Christopher Nunes of East Providence; nine grandchildren, Paul Kostka, Jason Charron, Julia Harnois, Brian, Keith, James and Nicole LeClair, Kimberly Johnson and Melissa Velazquez and fourteen great grandchildren. (06/27/14) Pawtucket – Francis Xavier Hunt, 58, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2014 while in hospice care after a long illness. Frank was the son of the late Edward P. Hunt of Pawtucket and the stepson of the late William Hunt of Lincoln and Pawtucket, R.I. He was the nephew of the late Reverend Father Patrick Hunt. He was a graduate of Tolman High School and the University of Arizona, Tucson. He was a licensed mortgage broker for many years, but was currently employed by the Federal Government, at the US Department of Commerce. An avid gardener, Frank toiled many hours in his garden, but was also a lover of books. His great passion in life however was music. An author of more than 100 country blues songs, Frank performed regularly with his neighborhood band. He is survived by his mother, Mildred (Jurcy) Hunt of Pawtucket; his brothers, Michael and his wife, Joanne of Hollywood, FL., Edward and his wife, Roberta and Patrick and his wife, Elaine all of North Attleboro; his beloved sister, Millie Godin and her husband, Robert of Glocester, his stepsister, Barbara Blais and her husband, Jim of Cranston; his stepbrother, Stephen of Pawtucket and many nieces and nephews. (06/30/14) East Greenwich – Anne Marie Pontarelli passed away on June 28th, peacefully and prayerfully surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Arthur R. Pontarelli, with whom she celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on June 17th. Born in Providence, RI, the daughter of Vincenzo and Anna (DeSimone) DeMarco, Anne lived most of her adult life in North Providence, but also resided in Naples, Florida, West Warwick and most recently, East Greenwich. She attended Providence schools and upon graduation from Hope High School was employed for several years as a secretary at Brown University. Anne was a cheerful, energetic and tireless parent and indeed, a model of selfless love. She devoted her life to her family. Her special interests included being a parent volunteer at North Providence High School athletic events, in which her five children participated. Her five grandchildren provided an extra special feature for her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children: Paul E. Pontarelli and his wife Mary Ann of East Greenwich, Lisa A. Pontarelli of Warwick, James F. Pontarelli and his wife Patricia of Narragansett, David J. Pontarelli and his wife Sally of Culpeper, Virginia and Mark C. Pontarelli and his wife Kirsten of Lake Oswego, Oregon; one sister, Domenica Pesaturo of Providence and five grandchildren: Sarah, William, Isaac, Camille and Damon Pontarelli. (06/30/14) Doris L. (Cote) Gamache, 91, of Westport, formerly of Fall River, widow of Hilaire J. “Eli” Gamache, died Monday, June 30, 2014 surrounded by her family. A member of ILGWU-UNITE, she was employed by the Harlee and Whittenton manufacturing companies. She cherished being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, enjoyed ceramics and had a keen interest in following local and world news. She leaves 2 daughters, Janine P. Benevides and her husband Richard and Susan L. Gamache, all of Westport; grandchildren, Kerri A. Nunes and her husband Glenn, Stacie A. Belanger and her husband Noel and Todd R. Benevides and his fiancée Fatima Cabral; great-granddaughters, Emma Daisy Benevides, Molly Rose Belanger and Sydney Rose Belanger and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Eddie J. and Melina (Quesnel) Cote and the sister of the late George, Rita and Edward Cote and Gertrude Montmagny. Following cremation, her funeral mass will be held Saturday July 12 at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, Fall River. Visitation and flowers omitted. (06/30/14) Cumberland – Carol A. (Quilitzsch) Ellis, 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert A. Ellis, Jr. Born in Boston, she was a daughter of the late George and Anita (Mintel) Quilitzsch. Carol worked as a credit and collections manager at Hasbro for many years and was the secretary of the Bear Hill Village Tenants Association. She was a longtime member of the Cumberland Beagle Club and enjoyed knitting; crocheting; crafts and needle point. She leaves a son, Michael A. Ellis and his wife, Kathleen of Norfolk, VA; a daughter, Laurie A. Smith and her husband, Bill of North Attleboro; a brother, William Quilitzsch of Palm Bay, FL and five grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Robert Quilitzsch. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 54 Cedar Swamp Rd., Greenville.
